What is FTPthing?

FTPthing is an FTP client program for all current versions of Windows (98,NT,2000,ME). FTPthing is designed to be very easy to use. FTPthing has an intuitive Windows Explorer-style interface and supports Drag & Drop operations. FTPthing supports firewalls, non-standard ports, and PASV mode. FTPthing is extensively user-configurable, and places its configuration in a plain-text INI file for easy editing and transfer from one installation to another. Oh, I almost forgot the other good news. FTPthing is CareWare — that means no money, now or ever. You just have to care.

Download ftpthing.exe (Windows 95/98/2000/NT/ME, 504 KB) . Just download this self-extracting file and run it — installation is automatic. Then run FTPthing. Select Help for use instructions. Read the FTPthing online documentation.
